The following is an account of some of my picture taking as well as pictures and movies that I have downloaded from the net. Much of what follows was taken in the high desert of the Morongo Basin located in Southern California.

I have many interests and one of them is that of the anomalous photographs of the Cydonia region of Mars. What has been found there has raised my curiosity about what could have caused such features to exist. Among them is the Face on Mars. So please have a look at what I have discovered about it and see what you think after looking at my decoded pictures.

Garth Bowles Beautiful Desert Home Pictures taken at Garth Bowles' home.
Some of these pictures were taken using a 1968 Pentax 35mm camera using print film. The prints were scanned on an old 300 dpi HP scanner so the quality is what it is. These can be clicked on but it only gets you a 640 X 480 pixel picture. The rest were taken with a digital camera and can also clicked for larger pictures. Garth is the person in the red shirt and BB, who passed over in May 2002, is the person in the, well, no shirt.

Garth decided to take the lead and show a few of us "warriors" around his rather extensive property. This was new territory for all those who participated. Many power spots were visited and photo opportunities abounded.
On each full moon Garth Bowles hosts a drumming circle.

You can click on October and November pictures to get 1024 X 768 pixel pictures. The camera was at its limits due to the lighting or should I say lack thereof. The tripod came in handy and the twilight mode was used after sunset. This mode causes the camera to take several frames and add them in order to get enough photons to produce a picture. The result is that nighttime pictures are possible but a little grainy and peoples' movements cause them to look like ghosts.
All Night Drumming Circle. On November 3rd, 2001 there was an all night drumming ceremony at Garth's high desert property to help end world suffering. The drumming started at about 4:30 in the afternoon on Saturday and continued throughout the night until 6:30 Sunday morning. At any given time there were several people on the mother drum keeping the beat going. Fourteen hours of continuous drumming was quite the experience.

For those with slower connections I have created two separate pages (below) of ten pictures each which comes to about 500KB per page. This should take about two minutes per page to download on a PCM (56K) modem running at about 40Kbs, longer for slower connections. I have removed thirteen pictures from these pages that were somewhat redundant.
